Clear bra, also known as PPF or Paint Protection Film, is created utilizing advanced elastomeric polymers to create a totally transparent, self-healing, self-cleaning film that protects any painted automobile surface.

Our Basic paint protection film package is designed to be as budget friendly as possible, while still protecting the most sensitive areas of your vehicle. These areas include clear bra on the front edge of your hood, fender tips, and mirror backs.
Bumpers are well known for getting rock chips, but are much more durable than the metal hood and fenders since they are typically made of polycarbonate.
The hardness of the metal doesn't absorb impacts nearly as well as plastic and usually results in more and larger paint chips. The same applies to mirror backs since they are usually made with a harder and more brittle plastic than bumpers.

WHAT'S BETTER: CLEAR BRA OR CERAMIC COATING?
PPF VS CERAMIC COATING IN COLORADO SPRINGS
When it comes to protecting your vehicle’s paint, the choice between paint protection film (PPF) and ceramic coating might seem like a tough one to make. Understanding the key differences as well as the different qualities each has to offer can help you make a more informed decision.
Clear Bra is a thick, self-healing, polyurethane based film that provides an actual barrier to the areas of your paint that it is applied to. The elastomeric polymers that are the building blocks of paint protection film help to deflect rocks and other road debris, and allow the PPF to self heal at ambient temperatures should it get scratched on the surface. This thick layer helps to keep debris from transferring impact energy into the paint, while also holding the paint together. Unless you run into an exceptionally heavy or sharp object, clear bra provides the best protection on the market to the typical road debris seen in Colorado Springs.
Ceramic Coating is a liquid sealant that chemically bonds to your car’s paint, creating a hydrophobic, super glossy, and chemically resistant layer. It preserves paint quality and resists UV rays like clear bra, but also provides an incredibly deep gloss and slick surface that is simply unmatched.
While you benefit from the same chemical protection, the hardness that ceramic coating cures to can actually be a drawback. Out of sight, out of mind. Our gloss paint protection film is optically clear, so it won’t alter the look of your paint. Any clear bra options that aren't optically clear may have a hue cast that will make the protected areas look slightly bluer or more yellow compared to the rest of your paint, and we just find that unacceptable.

Not only can you not tell the clear bra is there, but you also don't have to worry about unsightly scratches and swirl marks once applied.

Additionally, some customers opt for complete and total clear bra coverage where we wrap every painted surface of the vehicle in PPF! Although it is the most expensive option, there's no other form of paint protection on the planet that comes anywhere close to the level of protection that a full paint protection installation provides. FULL COVERAGE
PPF is extremely hydrophobic, meaning it repels water, dirt, and grime much better than your paint. Although paint is often thought to be a non-porous surface, that couldn't be further than the truth. The microscopic pores in your paint result in a ton of surface area for paint and other contaminants to cling to.
With clear bra, it seals up these pores, and the clear bra itself is a non-porous material, allowing water to bead up and roll off. Dirt and grime also has an incredibly hard time sticking compared to paint, so it's much easier to clean than paint!
All this boils down to less car washes, less time is needed when you do wash your car, and you can significantly reduce the amount of water needed to keep your car clean! A lot of times a simple waterless wash or detail spray formulated for paint protection film is enough to keep your vehicle looking showroom ready!
HYDROPHOBIC
Clear bra used to manufactured from PVC, which for the time still offered pretty good protection, but PVC has some pretty nasty drawbacks. It is quite sensitive to UV, and over time tends to yellow and crack resulting in massive film failure. You've probably seen a handful of older cars that look like the whole front end is practically falling apart - that's old clear bra.
Luckily, all modern clear bra that is manufactured from polyurethane is also constructed with UV inhibitors, which benefit the film as well as your paint. These UV inhibitors keep the paint protection film soft so it doesn't crack, but also helps to prevent yellowing so your clear bra stays crystal clear. Since the clear bra doesn't break down, it keeps your paint safe from fading as well. With all the UV that we get here in Colorado Springs, we need all the UV protection we can get!
Additionally, when we apply PPF to your headlights and tail lights, you don't have to worry about hazing and oxidation. The plastic housings typically have a coating that protects the plastic from oxidizing in air, but after years of damage from debris or just being worn away after numerous washes it degrades. Clear bra creates an air tight barrier and protects the lenses from oxidizing, so your headlights and tail lights can continue to do their job to best of their ability.
NO MORE YELLOWING
In the last couple of years, clear bra manufacturers have taken a massive leap in the manufacturing process and now offer multiple finishes as well as actual colored PPF. You get all the same protection as standard gloss clear bra, but with the added benefit of either maintaining your factory matte or satin finish, or you can completely change the color of your vehicle just like a vinyl wrap!
Vinyl wrap has always been the go-to standard for changing the color of your vehicle, and while there still are significantly more color and finish options with vinyl, it comes nowhere near paint protection film in the durability and protection departments. We often still put clear bra over the top of vinyl to help protect it!
